Romania was still spelled Rumania when Bela Bartok took the photograph from which this painting was made after, and recorded the music that appeared on Folk Music of Rumania (1951). From that album the same Folk Dance in Hora Style, that entered last year's 100 in January of this year, is back in, and I used the same image to illustrate it.
